Tractor Requirements

  • Diesel-powered three axle sleeper cab
  • 48-inch maximum fifth wheel height
  • Empty weight of 18,500 pounds or less and ability to scale up to 46,500 pounds per-load
  • 270-inch maximum wheelbase for U.S. routes, 244-inch maximum wheelbase for Canadian routes
  • Installation of company GPS and tablet
  • Well-maintained equipment with proof of D.O.T compliance and must pass a thorough inspection at Mid-Michigan Equipment Corporation (MMEC)
  • Optional base plate program available
  • Owner-Operators must carry at least $1 million bobtail and physical damage coverage. Additional coverage may be required.
